CHALLENGE #25 Altered Art -"Hangers-It's Fall Y'all
I took on this challenge being held at http://jacksonsdigitalexpressions.blogspot.com, because they said make a Fall door hanger and interpret it anyway your heart desires. Well Fall in our household means FOOTBALL . I have alot of testosterone flowing in and out of my household so I thought this would fit right in. But of course I had to bling it up a little because, it's going to be MY doorhanger . I must admit I'm kinda' crazy about the CHICAGO BEARS, too!
I didn't have a door hanger so I made my own out of chipboard, on my Cricut. I used 2 shapes, a rectangle and a circle. With my Gypsy, I was able design my own doorhanger. I just moved the circle inside the rectangle and it cut it out in one piece. Some of my other embellishments like the football player is from the cartridge, Sports Mania and the others were googled from my computer.
Thanks for stopping to look. Have a great day!

Robert Jackson Sunday's Best
This is the card I am entering for Robert Jackson Sunday's best over at Scraps of color. This is one of my favorite images by him. "Luv me some Robert Jackson!"
I'm also sending him this card below to let him know that he and his family are being prayed for, and that we are deeply sorry for the loss of his father. "God be with you, Robert!"

RAK of Chicago -Mixed Media Art
Greetings everyone, my week-end was pretty busy. How was yours? Well my Craft Club RAK of Chicago had our monthly meeting. The theme for this meeting was Mixed Media Art. Our President, Kim Jones, instructed us on our first mixed media art project.
She was inspired by Christy Tomlinsons' Video on you-tube called Mixed Media Collage Sept. 2012 Kit.
Here are some photo's showing us girls at work:
Surprisingly, it turned out to be fun. I was kinda' intimidated at first by the whole process but Kim made it easy and fun. Plus she had enough food to feed an army of hungry ladies! LOL
I haven't finished mine yet, but I think I've got a new art interest.
