National RAK Day 2/17

Our challenge for this week at 613 Avenue Create, was to create something for someone that does a service for you.   I chose to make a Gift card wallet.  After viewing the " Follow The Paper Trail" video on You tube,  I thought this was a perfect way to show gratitude to my grandsons coach.

 Materials I used:

Bazzill card stock
DP from my stash (I've had it so long I can't remember what collection it came out of.)
Cricut Cartridge: Sports Mania
Tim Holtz chain
Clip from Staples
Copic markers
Fitztown image: Sports 20
Spellbinder scallop die cut
Sizzix embossing folder.

I really enjoyed making this.  I'm sure I will be making more of them in the future.  Great way to give a gift card!  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas is here!!!!!

Hello everyone,

Have you finished all your Christmas shopping and card making?  I have, and I am so relieved.  I've actually made over 35 Christmas cards in all for this year and I can proudly say they have all been mailed out.

I also found time to decorate 25 Mini Notebooks to give to my Senior Sunday School Class at my Church.  I found it pretty rewarding because I used up a lot of  scrap papers and left over embellishments.  I got on a roll and couldn't stop.  I think I'll do this again for next year if I get a good reception.
Here they are:

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!

That's Entertainment

Hi ladies and gents,

Why don't you stop  over at Outlawzchallenges and join in with this weeks challenge.    The theme is "That's Entertainment."  We're making cards based on our favorite Movie, TV program or Book.  I can't wait to see what everyone is going to come up with.

.  I'm a lover of Adventure, Futuristic, and Action Movies.  I chose "Blade Runner" as my all-time favorite movie.  It was made back in the 80's I think, but I still like to see it over and over.
Below is my inspirational DT card to get the creative juices going.
