April showers bring May flowers

Outlawz challenge for 4/15:

 

I had this image colored for so long.  I put it up knowing that it would come to use some day.  Our Outlawz challenge was to do an April showers: Showers, Bridal, Baby, or umbrellas.
I made the flowers myself with cuts from 2 Cricut cartridges:  Wedding and George Basics, and the fence is from Paper Doll Dress Up cart.  The banners are a EK Success punch.  The pearls are from Recollections.  I used my Copic markers for the coloring.  The sentiment is a quote I got off of the internet.

I'm pleased with the way it turned out.  I'd appreciate your comments when you're passing thru.

613 Avenue Create Sketch Design 4/15

Hello everyone,

hope you got those taxes done and in the mail.  I just dropped the forms in the mail a few hours ago.  I'm not a last minute person, so I have been stressed out R/T mailing my taxes late.  My Tax preparer was very behind this year, I guess!  He waited till the last minute to supply us with our completed tax forms.  Well I  can relax now!

On to something more relaxing.   Making cards.  This is the sketch we used to make this weeks Challenge at 613 Avenue Create:

 

 

The image I used is by Bugaboo: Live Love, Laugh Flower Fairies

I'm not sure of the DP name because I received the papers as a gift at a Craft retreat and instantly fell in love with it.

The flowers are Prima flowers and from Iamroses.

The black branches were made from Tim Holtz's Alteration Die called Tattered Pinecone

The sentiment came from a rubber stamp I've had for years.

Spring is in the air!

Good morning lovely people!  Spring is my favorite season.  It's like the Lord gives us a chance for a new start every year and my 2nd child was born on the 1st. day of Spring.

This card was made for inspiration for the challenge on Outlawz challenges - Spring of flowers 4/8
