Good morning crafter's! I must admit that these bookmarks are not my idea. I was inspired when I saw Toi Pickett's on www.scrapsofcolor.ning.com. Check out her work in her photo gallery. She is a member of my craft club, RAK of Chicago and she is a multi-talented lady.
I'm having dinner with some of my previous bible study group members and I thought this would be a friendly gesture. You know when you're a crafter, you always feel like you have to give something handmade to people. At least that's how I feel!
Anyway, thanks for taking a look.
Oh, I almost forgot. The image is one from http://www.fineartsbyrobertjackson.com.
Hi, Edie! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving so much love! I need it! :D) I love your bookmarks and I know I am sure everyone will be thrilled with this thoughtful gift!
ReplyDeleteI love the b/w of Audrey Hepburn! When I was preaching, I used to wear a lot of clothes that were fashioned after designs she wore in her movies. I was famous in my church (and other circles) for my "Audrey Hepburn Hats"

Edie, this is a great idea as a little something when meeting up. Very nice
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bookmarks Ms. Edie, I might have to scraplift this idea!!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way Edie...Homemade gifts are gifts from the heart. I heart these!
ReplyDeleteHi Edie! I think the people that receive these are going to be super happy. What a sweet gift from your heart, and made lovingly with your hands. They will be treasured and appreciated. I always have great intentions of doing something that sweet for others, but my followthrough.....not always. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to share any of your crafty projects in our challenges at Word Art Wednesday (not just the scripture cards). We love to see it all!
Also, if you get a moment, I would REALLY appreciate if you could vote for me. You can do it by going to:
www.redcarpetstudiochallenge.blogspot.com and over in the right-hand side bar under the category of Punny Card Challenges, vote for Karen (me). Thanks SO MUCH...if you can.
Hope you're havin' a great week, and I look forward to visiting again soon to see what else you've made. You're very inspiring.
Karen
